Blood Mountain in North Georgia is one of the most stunning places you can hike to in the entire state. But before you embark on your journey, you should understand that there are many different ways to get up to the peak of the mountain. However, there is one trail that is most popular with hikers, largely due in part to the surrounding scenery and the creeks and flowers along the way. But even during the colder months of the year, this trail is equally as magnificent.
Blood Mountain via the Byron Reece Trail clocks in around 4.3 miles out and back.
