If you’re on the hunt for a beautiful and rugged trail that showcases remarkable views, make the drive up to Bighorn National Forest near Sheridan and climb to the top of the Black Mountain Lookout Tower. From way up here, you can see for miles!

One of the most rugged and scenic trails in Bighorn National Forest is the 3.5 mile Black Mountain Lookout Trail.

There’s limited parking at the trailhead, so carpool if you’re arriving with friends, and try to get there early enough to snag a spot.
