The readers of Blue Ridge Country magazine recently selected the top three swimming holes in West Virginia, in their opinion, and we have to say, they picked some pretty amazing spots! Do you agree with their choices?
Coming in as the third best swimming hole in the state, with a silver medal designation, Blue Ridge Country readers picked Blue Hole in Preston County.

In addition to stunning blue-green water and a beautiful mountain horizon, Blue Hole also boasts a large, sandy beach running right down to the edge of the river, another reason it’s such a popular spot to swim!
