Here in Kansas, no one can tell us we don’t love our Sunflowers. We wait every year for the sunflowers to bloom, and here at Kansas Maze, there’s a whole Sunflower Festival just to celebrate how much we love them. Kansas Maze is a name we know well, and a place we love to visit in the fall when we want to get lost in corn mazes with cool shapes.

We have no shame staring at these beauties for hours every year, and Kansas Maze has one of the best fields in the state. Luckily, they’re hosting a Sunflower Festival that’s all about these golden beauties.

There are plenty of family fun activities, including photo opportunities, a bouncy ground balloon, giant tire climbing, a barrel train, and more.

They also have a separate Sunflower Trail Run, on August 29th which you can register for and enjoy a run through the flowers!

The festival runs from August 22nd to September 12th, from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and from 2 to 8 p.m. on weekends.
