Would it be possible for us to love Haywire Burger Bar in Westbrook more than we already do? Unlikely! This place is incredible and there’s no way anyone ever leaves unsatisfied.

First, we love the decor. The space is airy and things here are contemporary and fun. The walls have lots of fun art and the vibe is buzzing with positivity!

Each hamburger features an 8-ounce, hand formed patty made with 100% Black Angus beef. The meat is freshly ground in-house and is always from cattle raised in a humane environment without any antibiotics or hormones. Sounds good to us!

We especially love when they have specials seasonally. This November menu item features duck bacon, cheese, cherries simmered with brandy and crystallized ginger, orange-zested ginger mayo, atop chicken breast on a croissant bun.

And the really adventurous will appreciate the Cheddar Apple Burger featured on the Fall Harvest menu. It came with apple compote, cheddar crisp, honey drizzled organic arugula greens, fresh rosemary herbed mayo on a garlic grilled brioche roll. Yep, we’ll take two!
