When you want to want to steer clear of crowded places, you still have plenty of fun things to do in Massachusetts. You’ll find, in fact, quite a few kid-friendly hikes, including the half-mile trail that leads to Doane’s Falls. The kids will love the waterfall, and you’ll love the fact that the trail is even and easy for hikers of all ages. For another half-mile trail that also leads to a waterfall, follow the Chapel Brook Falls Trail.
