Nestled along the 75-mile Davis Mountains Scenic Loop, Fort Davis Drug Store was first opened over 100 years ago inside the historic Hotel Limpia. It served as a pharmacy, doctor’s office, newspaper pickup spot, and soda fountain from 1913 until the early 1980s.

Today, the drug store sits across the street from its original location. Despite changing hands several times, the decor and overall ambiance have remained largely the same – right down to the 22-foot soda fountain.

Grab a seat wherever you’d like, either at the counter or one of many wooden booths. The former showcases an array of vintage signs guaranteed to evoke a sense of nostalgia in all who lay eyes on them.
