About an hour north of Enid is a hidden dining gem near the shores of Canton Lake. Overlook Cafe is a  small-town restaurant featuring lovely views of the lake and waterway and some delicious burgers, catfish, and pie to go with it. They are only open during “lake season” so be sure to visit before the fall to enjoy a small town meal in the Sooner State.

Located just off Highway 58A in Canton, you’ll find Overlook Cafe—a local dining spot for hungry lake goers and travelers passing through town.

They are open Wednesday - Sunday during lake season, so be sure to check in with them before visiting to make sure that they are open.

You’ll also find specials on different days, like this fried chicken dinner that comes with perfectly breaded chicken, potatoes, gravy, a vegetable, salad, and dessert.

Or if you plan on visiting for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, try the plain or blueberry pancakes from 7:30 a.m.- 10:00 a.m.

They also have a complete tackle supply store with everything you need for a fishing trip to the lake, including live bait.
