Climbers Run Nature Preserve in Pequea, which stretches just over 80 acres, promises an ideal way to spend an afternoon or an entire day.

The nature preserve features three main hiking trails that total two miles. For a picturesque trail where you’ll cross a flowing creek, follow the blue trail markers of Climbers Run Trail.

Your shoes and legs will get wet when you cross the creek, but that’s a small price to pay for the beauty you’ll see. You can even climb on some of the rocks along the way, an especially popular activity with the kiddos.
