‘Tis the season for some festive fun with a trip to the North Pole, or at least to a place that will make you feel like you’re there! Holiday Magic at Brookfield Zoo will transport you to an enchanting land filled with twinkling lights, larger-than-life sculptures, trees all decked out with holiday cheer, and much, much more.
This is the 39th year for Brookfield Zoo’s Holiday Magic. It is the largest and longest-running event of its kind in the area.
Santa Claus has been unusually busy and we won’t be able to see him at Brookfield Zoo this year. Instead, there is a life-sized cutout of the jolly old elf to take photos next to.

While Santa’s elves are busy building toys, gnomes are attending the Holiday Magic event instead. Join in on the Game of Gnomes scavenger hunt and search for the 24 mischievous gnomes hidden throughout the zoo.

The zoo’s mall and fountain areas display over 600 trees decorated with LED lights and ornaments, creating a festive and magical Christmas scene.

Bring the family and experience Holiday Magic at the Brookfield Zoo this season! In addition to the enchanting holiday lights and displays, there are seasonal food and drink items for sale.
