Vacations and getaways in 2020 have taught us to realign our vision of the perfect little getaway. After several weeks this spring where staying at home was not only encouraged, but also required, we’ve learned that venturing outside of our own jurisdiction for even a night or two is as sweet as boarding a plane for a tropical destination in the Caribbean. Under the current circumstances, it’s easy to say that taking a stay-cation is actually better than boarding a plane to anywhere.
So with that in mind, the next question is where to go. Do you necessarily need a cabin all to yourself to feel safe in the COVID world?
TripAdvisor/management Not necessarily. At the Historic Brookstown Inn (which is located in the stunning space that once housed an 1800s cotton mill), the COVID-19 measures have been ramped up to assure guests and staff that extra precautions are being taken to keep visitors and staff safe.
