Stop by this historic Northern Pacific train depot in Bismarck, North Dakota and check out Edwinton Brewing Company. It officially opened in the summer of 2018 and has already become a highly rated, popular spot.

Though they preserved the historic look of the outside of the 119-year-old building, the inside has been renovated into a microbrewery and restaurant. You can take a peek into their brewing room for yourself and see the process at work before trying some of the beer.

They make quite a few delicious craft beers that are on tap. Many of them are named and themed after the railroad and Bismarck’s history. In fact, the name Edwinton itself comes from the city’s story, because that was its original name before being renamed to Bismarck.

Along with its strong sense of local history and great brews, this place also has fantastic food. Get a massive “Mega Pretzel” with your drink to start and you’ll quickly fall in love.
