While some Christmas decorations have started appearing in shops and neighborhoods, Oklahoma City doesn’t officially kick off the Christmas season until the annual Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival. Among the highlights of the jam-packed evening is, of course, the official tree lighting ceremony, ice skating, and so much more. If you would prefer to stay home this year you can still participate, as this event will be broadcast on local TV and live-streaming will also available.

OKC’s Mayor Holt will be hosting the evening as they flip the switch on the lights. The event starts at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 27.
