It’s always bittersweet to see summer coming to an end in Rhode Island. While we appreciate all four seasons in the Ocean State, there’s no denying that our summers are special. Luckily, there’s still plenty of time to enjoy one of our favorite seasonal pastimes, outdoor dining. And while we have a long list of patios and gardens to choose from, we can’t help but love our waterfront spots the most. Eating at The Lobster Bar, for example, feels like a quintessential Rhode Island experience.

The Lobster Bar sits at the very end of historic Bowen’s Wharf, right in the heart of downtown Newport.

Inside you’ll find a spacious dining room with fantastic views.

The eatery is open for lunch and dinner daily.

This is (obviously) primarily a seafood spot, but you’ll find something for everyone on the menu.
