Are you ready for some holiday cheer? The annual Christmas Town USA celebration in McAdenville, North Carolina will take place, as planned, in 2020! For many, many months the Town of McAdenville contemplated having the event this year but has finally settled on a modified version of this annual event. It will look a little different this year, though. Here’s what you need to know:
Christmas Town USA - 2020 will take place but a few of the signature events will be missing this year in an effort to keep the community and the scores of visitors safe.

For starters, there will be no tree lighting ceremony and the town lake will not be illuminated. The annual Yule Log Celebration has also been cancelled.

Here’s what won’t change: You can expect much of the town to be illuminated.

One of the things that makes McAdenville so special at Christmas is the entire town decorates their homes.

This year, however, some residents may choose not to illuminate or decorate their home. It’s optional.

Families from far and wide make visiting Christmas Town USA an annual tradition and we’re thankful the town is still moving forward with the event.

The town’s very walkable Main Street and downtown area will be bustling with activity, as usual.

Whether you just want a delicious piece of Elvis Cheesecake (from Floyd & Blackie’s Bakery on Main), or you want a full meal, you’ll be able to enjoy either at Christmas Town USA.
