Even though New Mexico has eased some of the restrictions on stay-at-home health orders, there’s no question residents are still feeling the effects of cabin fever. New Mexicans who’ve been itching to leave the house will soon have a bit of relief with free drive-in movies at select Walmart stores.

Called the Walmart Drive-In Experience, this will be a series of pop-up events happening around the country.

The current list of showings available in New Mexico will take place in September and are located in Las Cruces at the Walmart Supercenters on Valley Drive and Rinconada Boulevard.

This has already proved popular since some showings appear “sold out” on their website. However, additional locations and showings may be announced in the coming weeks.
