Most of us have favorite Halloween traditions, something we look forward to every year. Unfortunately, the pandemic has brought a halt to many of those treasured traditions. One, however, remains, albeit in a different way. Climb aboard a fun and spooky Halloween cruise in Pittsburgh for a memorable adventure this October.

A cruise down the Three Rivers aboard the Gateway Clipper Fleet has become a holiday tradition – Easter, Halloween, and Christmas – for many Pittsburghers.

This year, the Gateway Clipper Fleet will host a family-friendly haunted Halloween cruise, set for select dates throughout October. (The traditional kids’ Halloween cruise isn’t on the 2020 October schedule.)

The hour-long cruise promises beautiful views of the shimmering Pittsburgh skyline and plenty of real-life haunted tales. You might learn, for example, about the spirits that haunt the Old Allegheny County Jail.

Have you heard of the Monongahela Monster? You’ll learn all about him and decide for yourself if he really exists while on this Halloween cruise.

A snack bar will also be open during the cruise. Indulge in such goodies as hot dogs, nachos, and popcorn. Bagged snacks, pop, and a full bar will also be available.

Tickets are sold until five minutes prior to departure, although you’ll probably want to order your tickets ahead of time. The popular Halloween cruises tend to sell out quickly.
