Starting out as a loving experiment in bookstore ownership by David and Maria Lovett, originally from Colorado, the store grew very rapidly. They later transplanted both themselves and the store to Wichita, Kansas, where its growth exploded.
The store is nothing short of a book-lover’s sanctuary, filled to the brim with not just books but movies, music, and more. Visitors are encouraged to bring in unwanted books and movies to sell them to the store. Over the years, the collection has simply grown to an enormous size.
