Summer traditions don’t get much better than a balmy evening at the local drive-in, indulging in popcorn and other goodies, and catching a double feature. Mental Floss recently announced its list of the 50 Best Drive-In Movie Theaters Across America, and two Pennsylvania spots made the list – Shankweiler’s Drive-In in Orefield and Becky’s Drive-in in Pennsylvania.
Movie lovers have been lining up for a double feature at Becky’s Drive-In, in Walnutport, since it opened back in 1946. Today, it’s just as popular as ever.

Be prepared for long lines at the box office, especially if you arrive early to snag a good parking spot. That wait, however, will be worth it – a curious duck might even greet you. (The drive-in is pet-friendly.)
