We all have our own reasons for hiking – from exploring new corners of Massachusetts to finding relaxation among nature. With its rich history, Massachusetts also offers an abundance of hiking trails that also give history lessons. Battle Road Trail in Massachusetts, for example, will take you back to the opening days of the American Revolution.

Tucked in Minute Man National Historic Park, in Lexington, Battle Road Trail is an out and back trail that spans nine miles total.
