Batten’s Donuts and Bakery has been serving mouthwatering goodies for over 60 years. Everything here is irresistibly tasty but the cinnamon rolls are the best around! Let’s grab a seat and drool over the menu as we learn more about this prized Paragould gem.
Batten’s Donuts and Bakery is one of the oldest bakeries in Arkansas!
Google/Daniel Ray Batten’s Bakery was originally opened in 1954, meaning the fryers have been going strong for 66 years! The family business was taken over by Mike and Bridgette Batten in 2008.
Before we roll into the main menu item of today’s focus, let’s glaze over some of the other breakfast options.
Facebook/Batten’s Donuts and Bakery Batten’s does much more than just donuts and cinnamon rolls! Their full breakfast menu includes omelets, pancakes, and country-style platters. You can also mix the savory and sweet with a Doughn-wich!
Like everything else offered at Batten’s, the cinnamon rolls are made fresh.

Batten’s fried cinnamon rolls are decadently crispy with a light and doughy center.
Facebook/Batten’s Donuts and Bakery Most of the rolls are as big as your face, though you can get some minis as well. If you’re wanting a more traditional roll, Batten’s also has baked cinnamon rolls topped with pecans. We’re fans of the fried but all the rolls here are downright delicious!
The fried indulgences don’t stop at the cinnamon rolls either!
Facebook/Batten’s Donuts and Bakery In addition to the cinnamon rolls and all the variety of donuts you’d ever want, Batten’s also supplies scrumptious fried pies! The pies come in fruit flavors (including raisin), chocolate, and seasonal treats like pumpkin.
You’ll definitely need a drink to wash down all the sugary goodness.
Facebook/Batten’s Donuts and Bakery Batten’s can quench your thirst regardless if you’re a chocolate-whipped-cream-mocha type of slurper or a black coffee sipper. If you do tend to venture beyond a plain roast, we recommend the Nutty Panda specialty. It’s a mix of chocolate, caramel, hazelnut, and all the necessary caffeine.
No matter if you’re here for a sit-down breakfast or just a sweet quick bite, Batten’s Donuts and Bakery will satisfy.
