Angels of the Prairie is a beautiful chapel in rural Minnesota. More specifically, it’s in Isanti County, near the small town of Cambridge. In the summer months, it is a botanical garden with many beautiful plants in bloom.

And in the winter, it may be decorated for Christmas or covered in a blanket of snow. This charming chapel looks like something out of an old-time movie.

The chapel is full of charming details. It was built in the style of pioneer churches from centuries ago.

Inside, it’s even more beautiful. Many details come from the historic Zion Norwegian Lutheran Church in Towner, North Dakota, built more than 120 years ago. This includes the set of beautiful stained glass windows that cast a magical glow on the chapel’s interior.

The 14-foot-tall altar comes from the same church. It includes an original oil painting from 1926.
