Though the exact date hasn’t been announced, the location has – and the festival will be taking place in Gulfport.

So, what exactly does the festival entail? Well, in addition to hundreds of glowing lanterns, there’s food and music.

But the best part of the fest is the launch of the lanterns, which typically takes place at sunset and continues for 1-2 hours until everyone has had a chance to launch their lantern into the water.

Each ticket purchase includes a floating lantern and marker to decorate your lantern.

Of course, you can always bring other items to customize your lantern, such as additional markers, pencils, stickers, pictures, and virtually anything else you can think of.
