Welcome to a beautiful scene known as Angel Falls. This secluded area has been evading our attention for years, and thanks to a suggestion from our readers, we’ve found a new favorite.

Then you come upon a bridge, well built and plenty wide enough to traverse with ease. Who doesn’t love a little bridge?

The pavement drops off for the waterfall of course, and you can venture down to dip your toes in or sit near the water for a soothing break.

A few days after a good rain is a great time to visit, especially if you want to enjoy the flowing water sounds for a while. There’s just something about smaller waterfalls that trickles in our ears so perfectly.

The half-mile trail is open for both biking and hiking, and if you’re lucky, you’ll catch one of Lansing’s events they hold along the trail path. Fall festival, anyone?
