Connecticut has some strange things going on and no we aren’t talking about the tax situation. From some bizarre statues to buildings that look like they were dumped on us from Mars, there are some odd sights in the Nutmeg State and not all of them can be explained. Here are a few of Connecticut’s weird places.

- The Spaceship, Guilford
Historic Buildings Of Connecticut In 1985, Whitfield Shore Condominiums was built in Guilford and has since been nicknamed “the spaceship.” The architect was told to create “something wild” and he did!
- KAWS Companion, Ridgefield
Flickr/Mike Simonds This KAWS has been recreated larger than life on the grounds of The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield, CT. We aren’t sure exactly what to think of this piece!
- Brain Collection, New Haven

- Philip Johnson Glass House, New Canaan

- Little People Village, Middlebury
