Nashville is truly a beautiful space, but sometimes people can get a bit caught up in our pop culture and forget about the darling little places that surround Music City. Atlas Obscura One of the first in Nashville, Demonbreun lived out of this cave for quite a bit of time when he made his trek out to Middle Tennessee. It’s a landmark that’s still protected, and carries a strangely eerie mark to it.
- Cornelia Fort Airpark
The Tennessean Abandoned and rife with history - Patsy Cline was headed here when her plane crashed - Cornelia Fort carries an edge of strangeness to it. A story could be set here quite well, and the open landscape makes for a lovely backdrop.

Thomas Hawk - Flickr This foreboding, castle-like structure is a stunning thing. Dark, dank, and downright creepy it’s the perfect spot for the climax of a story.
