South Carolina is an amazing place to live and to visit. Some people live here their entire lives and never see just one of the items that will be on this list. I know, it is very difficult to put off cleaning the house especially if you have been working all week, or to put off grocery shopping for just a bit. Things clutter our lives and we end up never doing the things we wished we did. My mom gave me some very sage advice just before she passed. She told me it is better to have lovely memories than a lifetime of “I wish I dids”. So, if you haven’t seen all the beauty and wonder that the Palmetto State has to offer or don’t know where to start, here is a South Carolina bucket list for you to start on! Laundry can wait… it’s not going anywhere. I promise you!

That’s a pretty good South Carolina bucket list for a start! Don’t you think so? It never ceases to amaze me at how much beauty we have throughout our state. Have I missed something that you believe should be on this list? Please, let us know by nominating places you think are worthy of being featured. We can never have too many places to see and things to do. Or too many memories to make.

South Carolina Bucket List November 06, 2020 Leah What are the most unique things to do in South Carolina? There are many places to visit in South Carolina, but some of them truly stand out from the rest as being unique. Spots like the Charleston Tea Plantation are must-visits for this reason. That place is the only tea plantation in the entire country, and you can visit it with a farm tour and even a tea factory tour. South Carolina also has quirky spots like South of the Border, which is special in its own way - even if it can seem a little cheesy. Which hidden gems in South Carolina should I visit? The best things to do in South Carolina aren’t always the ones that everyone knows about. Some lesser-known, yet equally as worthy spots to visit include places like the ACE River Basin. This spot is a natural gem with rivers, marshes, and lots of chances to spot wildlife. Not many people know that you can visit a working sheep ranch in South Carolina, but at Ovis Hill Farm you can do exactly that and more. They have delicious cheese and other organic products you can buy while you’re there. What are the coolest attractions in South Carolina? Discover some of the best places to visit in South Carolina by checking out fun, thrilling, or laid-back attractions across the Palmetto State. For an adrenaline rush, take a ride down the Charleston Zipline. There are many ziplines in this park that range from scenic canopy tours from the treetops to fast and fun ziplines down to the forest floor. You can also go whitewater rafting down the Chattooga River in South Carolina. For something a bit more relaxed, visit one of the many beaches in South Carolina. Myrtle Beach is full of things to do, restaurants to eat at, and plenty of sand to stretch out on, while quieter places like Edisto Beach are perfect for the whole family to just enjoy the sounds of the waves.
